Multiple Quran: Has the god of Islam failed to perfectly preserve his words in the Quran?"Consider the following example, from the Hafs version of the quran, Surah 43, verse 19 : And they described the angels, who are SLAVES OF THE MOST MERCIFUL, as females. Did they witness their creation? Their testimony will be recorded, and they will be questioned. Now consider Quran 43:19 in the Warsh version: And they described the angels, who are WITH THE MOST MERCIFUL, as females. Did they witness their creation? Their testimony will be recorded, and they will be questioned." The Hafs version emphasizes that your god approves of slavery, and wants slaves , even though all he has to say if he wants something done is "Be, and it is" (Quran 2:117). [Muhammad also owned slaves, so it is not surprising that his imaginary god does too]. But the Warsh version of Quran 43:19 omits that Allah owns slaves . Presumably, Muhammad would only have said one of these two versions, so which version did he say, Hasan? That is, did Muhammad say what is found in the Warsh version or did he instead say what is found in the Hafs version? Did Jibreel say to Muhammad both versions? If Jibreel did this, how often did Jibreel give Muhammad two or more versions of a particular ayah?
