Suppose a Muslim man married a Christian (or a Jew), and the couple had children. Suppose that the wife as well as the children read the Quran and rejected it entirely. Accordingly, Islam decrees that they shall be tortured forever in The Fire of Hell after death. Should the Muslim father & husband wind up in heaven, he will be able to hear their painful screams for water (to alleviate being terribly burned)! [Quran 7:50]. This husband and father will hear the screams of his loved ones constantly, but be prevented from doing anything.
Why is Being a "Kufr" (disbeliever) a Crime Worthy of Horrible Punishment, especially since Allah refuses to guide them (Quran 9:39)?
Muhammad declared that he is a messenger of god, and the Quran consists of Muhammad's messages. In at least several verses of the Quran, it is made clear that those who disbelieve these messages will forever be tortured with fire. So our Debate Question is then: "Is it fair to torture someone simply because he or she does not believe someone else's messages?" In considering your answer, ask if you torture those who do not believe your messages.
